CONSCIOUS CONNECTED
BREATHWORK

Why Breathwork?

Breathwork can be transformative, and has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety and inflammation, balance blood pressure, balance hormones, boost the immune system, and improve overall health and wellbeing.

What is Conscious Connected Breathwork?

Conscious Connected breathwork (CCB) is to take full active breaths continuously without breaks and without breath-holds. This method of breathwork is to help the body release emotion that may not have been processed or integrated. This emotion can range from joy to grief, and everything in between. Conscious Connected Breathwork allows the body to consciously process that energy in motion (E-Motion) so it is able to move through and be integrated. I have personally experienced and witnessed transformative breathwork sessions that have changed lives. I invite you to keep an open heart and an open mind, and surrender to the experience.

What to expect in a breathwork session

The session is an hour altogether, with a grounding meditation to start, and fifteen minutes or so to explain the CCB method and how to breathe in the session. The breathing experience itself lasts for 35 to 45 minutes along to a playlist to breathe to, while I guide you through the process. During your breathe, you may experience an altered state of consciousness as you move into a different frequency state, and emotions may come to the surface. You may feel a tingling sensation in the hands and face or all over the body. This is quite normal and to be expected. Trust your body to bring to light what is needed. The method is a mouth breathing method for a more active experience, although you can choose to nose breathe for a gentler experience if you wish.

What to prepare

For your comfort, I recommend bringing blankets to cover you, as your temperature may change during the breathe.

For a more immersive experience I recommend bringing an eye mask so you can go deeper into your breathing meditation.

Intuitive touch

With your permission I will use intuitive touch to guide you through your breathing session to help you to breathe properly, and to help you with your process. If you would rather not be touched however, that's no problem, just let me know before the session.

After care

You may feel like you need to rest and process after your breathe, so it’s recommended that you go gently, and be with yourself for half an hour or so before you drive or operate heavy machinery. Or even better, take a few hours to yourself after your session to ground properly. Journaling can be a wonderful tool. Remember to drink plenty of water, and allow yourself to feel whatever you are feeling. Your experience is valid, whatever may or may not come up for you.
